Sports for Integration of Young People with Disabilities (SIYD)

The SIYD project – Sports for Integration of Young People with Disabilities – aims to improve access to sports and physical activities for young people with disabilities. Co-funded by the European Union under the ERASMUS-SPORT-2022-SSCP program (Project Code: 101090155), the project reflects a strong commitment to inclusion and diversity in sport.

Project Goals

  • Increase participation and accessibility in sports for young people with disabilities.
  • Promote inclusion and diversity in line with the priorities of the Erasmus+ Sport program.

Key Activities

  • Development of a Good Practice Guide for sports programs for youth with disabilities.
  • Establishment of a basketball club for young athletes with disabilities.
  • Creation of a web portal to provide easier access to information about sports opportunities.
  • Development of a mobile/web application with details on accessible sporting events, facilities, and locations.
